Thesis Title: Monsters and Horrific Stories: A Bio-Cultural Approach
About
My research is concerned with the interdisciplinary study of frightening entertainment. I am interested in integrating horror study with the natural and social sciences, in particular, human behavioural biology and evolutionary and cognitive psychology; thus, my research is contiguous with adaptationist literary study or Literary Darwinism.
