About
I have a background in both neuropsychology (BSc) and phenomenology/philosophy of mind (MA) and am currently working on a PhD in cognitive neuroscience with the Interacting Minds group in Århus, Denmark.
My PhD is focused on cognitive neuroplasticity, individual differences, and mental training. Specifically, I am investigating experience related changes resulting from various forms of intensive group and individual training training- contemplative meditation, digital interaction, and video-games. For now, I work primarily with fMRI, utilizing traditional and resting-state methodologies to investigate training-related adaption.
Previously, I utilized psycholinguistic analyses to correlate word-usage in self-narrative and psychopathology, and also explored the phenomenology of agency. My research continues to be motivated by a variety of topics in cognitive science, including the phenomenology of intersubjectivity, agency, and social cognition.
